Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and built in 1906, the Courtland Hotel and Spa has a rich heritage of welcoming travelers to Fort Scott, dating back to the town’s old railroad days. But, unlike many of the more modest lodgings of the time, the Courtland Hotel delivers accommodations celebrating the grandeur of generations past.

To make your stay even better, we have renovated each historic room to include all of the modern comforts of luxury we know today, including flat-screen televisions, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi access and other amenities.

When it was decided to create the Spa, inside The Courtland Hotel, it was determined that it would have to be inviting and peaceful. As well as have the ability to accommodate Individuals, Couples, Friends or small groups, at the same time.

There are Four Therapy rooms. Two are large enough for Couples to receive services together. One room was specifically designed for doing Facials, Waxing, Body Wraps and Massages. The fourth is for individual services.

We have installed a step-in shower for our guests to use to remove mud’s, oils, lotions, etc. Before dressing or going to the next service they have scheduled.
For the Feet we installed two Pipeless Pedithrones. The pipeless pedithrones are the most sanitary available on the market. The pumps are inside the bowl and are removed and replaced with sanitized pumps between site each service.

There are two manicure stations. So as to go along with the concept that Couples can come into the Spa and experience it together.

Massages offered are: Traditional Swedish, Deep tissue, Prenatal, Couples, Hot Stone, Reflexology, Aromatherapy Scalp Massage and Chakra Massage.

Other Services include: Manicures, Pedicures, Facials, Hair cuts, Color, Body Wraps, Acrylic Nails, Body Waxing and Make-up application.
